Purchasing a certified organic product gives the guarantee that the product is produced without the use of any toxic pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, genetically modified (GMO) ingredients, sewage sludge or irradiation.

It provides an assurance that the products are free of synthetic chemicals or preservatives.

It also gurantees that the ingredients and final products are managed such that no cross contamination occurs.

Finally, presence of a USDA organic certificate gives the assurance that the manufacturing facility goes through an annual inspection process.
