Our Story
Our journey began in 2012 when I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's. Fed up with the lack of cure or help from western medicine, I decided to take my health into my own hands. With support from my loving husband, Akee, I embarked on a journey of health and well-being.
The environmental engineer and passionate environmentalist in me naturally gravitated toward the world of herbs—a connection deeply rooted in my cultural heritage, where Ayurvedic herbs have been revered for centuries. To deepen my understanding, I expanded my innate knowledge of herbs and Ayurveda through extensive research, diving into books, journals, and scientific papers. For years, I dedicated myself to learning about the remarkable benefits of herbs, immersing myself in their rich history and modern applications
I regained my health with the help of Ayurveda, herbs, meditation, and yoga, and with it came deep respect for herbs and their effectiveness.
We wholeheartedly embraced Ayurveda, weaving its principles into every facet of our lives—from the food we ate to the products we used on our skin. Driven by a desire for holistic well-being, we began crafting skincare products tailored to our unique needs. Special attention was given to Akee's sensitivities to artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives, as well as the delicate care required for my sensitive skin and our children’s gentle skin.
Akee, an altruistic and environmentally conscious software engineer with deep roots in generational organic farming, has always been a passionate advocate for organic living. When he experienced the transformative power of the natural and organic skincare I formulated, he was inspired by its effectiveness and strongly believed that everyone should have access to such pure, clean, and natural solutions. With this vision in mind, 'Spin Organics' was born—a brand dedicated to sharing the essence of clean organic skincare with the world.
Rooted in ayurveda, Spin Organics® embraces and incorporates herbal skincare wisdom from various cultures.
